The exterior shots of the house are similar to the same house Mitchell and Cam lived in on Modern Family
Line of Events
It tells the story of three very different families who are fighting over who can buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. A very slow series, but my review is not based solely on that, but overall it is not a good or bad series.
You also didn’t seem to care about any of the characters, despite some of the things they were dealing with
At times it felt like a comedy (or a dry comedy) about selling a house, and then it veers into something else. The show was clichéd and there were some misunderstood parts, due to plot holes that leave you feeling unsatisfied.
The twist within the twist over the last few episodes was actually good
The casting was okay, but maybe it was the script or the director, who didn’t bring a stronger story to the screen in places. It’s not a show I’d watch again, but good enough to watch once.
